Part two of GlamMetal’s exclusive interview with the members of Triumph features bassist Mike Levine.
In my interview with Mike, we touch on similar topics discussed earlier with guitarist Rik Emmett and it seems both guys are on the same page when it comes to the reasons behind the decision to go ahead with a reunion. Though neither confirmed nor denied a full-blown 2009 tour, or even a future product release, both appeared genuinely excited to be performing in front of their fans after nearly 20 years apart.
During those two decades, Mike has kept busy inside the Metalworks studio in Mississauga, Canada alongside owner and bandmate, Gil Moore, as the pair worked to build Metalworks reputation as the premier company for recording and more recently, large scale lighting and audio production.
As you will see, Mike is a pretty down to earth guy who maintains a love for all aspects of the music business, as well as his personal career. Now if I can just get him to wear a Buffalo Sabres Jersey…
